The story begins in 1987 when the first climbers arriving in Leonidio opened up a field under the name of "Fire Pylon".

After many years (2008) the wider Leonidio area attracted the interest of climbers in general.

An activity requiring special knowledge and progress in stages. With a climb over the Leonidio red imposing rock face, all enthusiastic climbers will find the best location to achieve climbing satisfaction and emotional conquer of the top.

High limestone quality combined with the area mild climate have contributed to the development of the climbing park which today sports more than 1,000 routes.
